New information has come to light...Thoughts on Protesting...

It seems these days there is a great deal of unrest. Almost anywhere one looks on the planet there seems to be people upset. There certainly is a great deal of injustice. Certainly, this has ties economics. As the poor become more and more dependent on government the more likely at some point they inevitably realize things aren't getting better and the promises aren't quite as good as tangible things like food and shelter.

But what's behind all of this and what is the proper response? I tend to believe that we're suffering from is an idea that has been tried for thousands of years because it's extremely lucrative and beneficial to some but overtime fails inevitably. At which time, after some protests, the idea is reintroduced under a new guise and the entire thing is repeated. This idea is called "reserve banking", "legal tender" or "fiat currency" and it's been around for a long time. Our current situation stems back a few hundred years, as people became enlightened by the ability print knowledge, big changes were happening and a new system of governing had to be found. The divine right of kings was being challenged and most people recognized this was asinine.

Fast forward a some decades and a new idea springs...Democracy. Essentially the same rulers, only instead of ruling "by God's will" it was "the will of the People". The protesting masses were satisfied and went back to their daily lives. For the most part people had been fooled again... but someone left a clue, a quote from one of the rulers from behind the facade.

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws." ~ Mayer Rothschild

This is probably the most revolutionary admission of the ruling class in the last thousand years. (The second being: "The power to tax is the power to destroy"~John Marshall)

It should be the first lesson of anyone's education. Because we are again into a revolutionary informational age. The new printing press, the internet, is allowing people to once again peek into the system of control and with some understanding, be disgruntled.

But what is the response to all this?

I would suggest protesting, violent or non-violent, isn't going to be enough.

There is a better way!

Wrestling control of the money away from those at the top. Whether it's cigarettes in a prison, bartering with your neighbor, coupons at your local 'mom and pop' store, time banking or bitcoin... all these represent much more wealth and more options for those at the bottom than those at the top. Peer to peer rather that central control. If we really want to make a difference, start by putting down the protest signs and becoming an entrepreneur using some sort of alternative to the ruler's currency.

It's that simple.
