Issues, Topics and Things that might Concern You

The My 12 Questions:

Over the years I've learned the first step to enlightenment is to first ask a good question! This is a collection of 12 questions I think are pertanent to living in the world today. Some of this information has led to blogs on various topics but I do believe this might make it easier for one to find the information most important to them.

One caveat: I am not all knowing, so I do try my best to research a topic beyond the first claim but if I were to add every link I've used would probably lead to a spiderweb of information that would confuse everyone. Thus I have tried to be brief and to the point of adding information that is the most interesting, provocative and yet informing. Some of these people providing the information could be considered questionable... the main stream being the most questionable of all. The idea is to hopefully provide a beginning to opening the reader's mind to the possibilities.

Finally, this is a work in progress! Forgive me for not coming to a conclusion.

My twelve questions: I may change the order... or the questions as I learn more or get feedback.

1. Why does the corporate world use the US government to stifle competition, enhance their business and in general make life miserable? (Miserable people are allot better customers when your selling happiness)

The simple answer is... because they can. It's my view that practically everything the government does is essentially a welfare program for one interest or another. Whether it be foreign aid, the military, the various agencies... it's all welfare.

Understanding the ADA and why it’s just another disaster that the government loves.

2. How do I get out of the Rat Race and becoming independent?

In my view, the "Rat Race" is an illusion used to keep people running on the treadmill and not thinking critically. What people spend a majority of their time earning money for is actually things they don't need but have been programmed to want. And one thing most people don't realize is taxes are what they are working most for. Not just income taxes but also embedded taxes and of course the invisible tax, inflation.

This is something that is more difficult the more one learns especially when people find out about the corrupt nature of the monetary system. It is my view that our monetary system is a religion. The world's most popular religion! Getting away from that is not that easy!

3. How do we solve the many Health care problems?
My comments: This one isn't as hard as the media and the industry would have people believe. It's really a created disaster (they seem to be good at those). I would say there's a few things everyone should absolutely do to dramatically improve their health.
Reduce Stress (Stress could contribute to as much as 90% of hospital visits)
Eat better (The Beautiful Truth - eating good nutritious food will solve most disease and sickness)
Get out of the third payer trap (If you don’t care how much it costs your screwed)
Find Alternatives (The main stream medical system doesn’t make money unless people are sick)
Get some Sleep (A good night’s sleep rejuvenates the body… but few get it)

3.1 Why is stress so bad for you?

National Geographics Stress: Portrait of a Killer - Video (50 min)
My comments: In my opinion stress may be the worst thing we can do to ourselves. Although be exposed to a harmful environment and toxins isn't good. Stress may be the real activator that puts it all in motion. An excellent, eye opening introduction to why. (even for the main stream media)

Plastic not fantastic - Article: Scientific American
My Comments: Although I don't see this risk as large as others. I do believe it adds to the a riskier environment than necessary. The fact that everything these days is in plastic should be of concern though. I noticed when in Australia that all the juices and milk were either in glass or paper containers. Unlike America where you can't find anything in those.

My Comments: I was up in Canada and happened to turn this on while in the hotel room. I was truly amazed and found a link which I sent to my friends back in the USA. However, they were unable to open it. My first experience with censorship in America. In regard to the material, it's amazing how many chemical compounds we are exposed to in our daily existence. My Comments: I don't know what to think about this one but I thought I'd make people aware there could be a problem. One might do their own investigation and see what the effects on plants. Gun Control
John Lott: More Guns, Less Crime Video (54 min)
My comments: "Security" is a major concern for Americans but this video points out much of this has been created by the government policies and laws taking responsibility for security away from people. Did you know pilots used to be required to carry handguns? No one ever hijacked a plane while that policy was in effect! When we give up our responsibilities to the government, don't be surprised when they fail to keep their promises! Many great statistics that show people, the population, with guns are the best deterrent to crime. Who gets screwed when permits are required? Poor blacks in high-crime areas.

5. What is Love? And where is it?
My comments: Gandhi has some really interesting things to say on this. I like something that I'm not sure where I heard it but it goes "Love is the absence of fear!" I tend to believe that and if one does grasp that, then love can be everywhere. Here's some words to describe love as I understand it.

"Where there is love, there is life." ~ Gandhi
"Love is an act of endless forgiveness, a tender look which becomes a habit." ~ Peter Ustinov
"Love does not dominate; it cultivates." ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
"Love is all we have, the only way that each can help the other."~ Euripides
"Love is always bestowed as a gift - freely, willingly and without expectation. We don't love to be loved; we love to love. " ~ Leo Buscaglia
"Love is metaphysical gravity." ~ R. Buckminster Fuller
"Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within."~ James A. Baldwin
"Nobody has ever measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold." ~ Zelda Fitzgerald
"The best proof of love is trust." ~Joyce Brothers
"The only abnormality is the incapacity to love." ~ Anais Nin
"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other." ~Audrey Hepburn
"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." ~Henry Van Dyke

"To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life are already three parts dead." ~Bertrand Russell

"We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love." ~Tom Robbins

"What the world really needs is more love and less paper work." ~Pearl Bailey
"Who, being loved, is poor?" ~Oscar Wilde
"You don't have to go looking for love when it's where you come from." ~Werner Erhard
"Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue, a wonderful living side by side can grow, if they succeed in loving the distance between them which makes it possible for each to see the other whole against the sky." ~Rainer Maria Rilke

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” ~Budda

One thing I will also point out is the misrepresentation of "love" in our culture. The powers that be, through movies, advertising, tv, religion, etc... have attached certain expectations to "love" to try and redefine it and obfuscate the real meaning and power that people can tap into. It's another attempt to continue the misery, redirect the wants and needs and drive a wedge between people. I would classify the modern form of marriage as one of the greatest expectations used but there are many more. The more unattainable and impossible "love" becomes the more power they have to control and leach from people.

When it come to pointing it out in relationships this might be the book that puts that all together:
Toxic Love- the Dysfunctional, Addictive, Cultural Norm by Robert Burney MA
"True Love is not a painful obsession. It is not taking a hostage or being a hostage. It is not all-consuming, isolating, or constricting. Unfortunately the type of love most of us learned about as children is in fact an addiction, a form of toxic love."

Expressing one's love using NVC - (Video)

Stephan Molyneux has also put together a few books on relationships that are rather interestion as well and they can be found on the internet free!
Real time Relationships: The Logic of Love

6. How do I know what is the illusion and what is real? How do I start thinking differently?

My comments: Just leave the aliens out of this and consider the signs, billboards and magazines. Many of the things we want and need are programmed into us.

My comments: Some of the problems we face... we don't even realize we have them. We just accept them as the way things are.

The Century of Self - Video(1 of 4, 58 min)
My comments: This BBC video is a wealth of knowledge on the modern experiment in advertising. How advertising sells a feeling rather than a product. In effect they are selling happiness and it's something they can sell over and over again. This is 4 hours long in it's entirety but something I would highly recommend viewing.

The noble lie

Tragedy and Hope by Carroll Quigley online book summary  (pub. 1966)
My comments: If you want a little peak into the ruling class... this gives one some solid information on the means and the methods. Carroll Quigley was one of Bill Clinton's powerful influences. A man that explains this very well is Dr. Stanley Monteith Brotherhood of Darkness Video (1 of 10 10 min) Around part 7 he mentions how the environmental movement will be useful as a religion and implementing the New World Order. This was a presentation in 1997!

Medicine:

Murder by Injection: Estace Mullins - Video (1of 3 10min)
My Comments: Just to be clear, I tend to believe most in the medical industry are 'useful idiots',. They know no better. They have been indoctrinated into a system that has been corrupted. This is just one of many videos, but some of the things I find very useful in this one is the discussion about homeopathic and allopathic techniques in medicine, the monopolistic tendencies of medicine, and the ties to the cost of medicine and the insurance industry. This interview was conducted in the early 1990's, and to look back... it's hard to not acknowledge the foresight this gentleman had.

Charities
The non-profit foundations are Un-American - Video (52 min)
My comments: G.Edward Griffin interviews Norman Dodd in 1982. Norman was a well connected individual with connections to banking leadership during the Great Depression and a Congressional investigation into these interests in the 1950's. This is an astounding interview that talks about everything from the motivations of War to the manipulation of the government for what most would label "evil".

My Comments: Agenda 21 How the globalist intend to take this country down. Agenda 21 was signed by George HW Bush in 91.

The British System of "Free Trade" - Video (1 of 2 10min)
My comments: This video is questionable but it does point out some interesting facts about the British system which people would call "Globalization". This system was set up to control colonies by taxing and subsidizing certain industries, not for the benefit of the people but for the benefit of the elite. Because they each had to rely on each other, they were dependent on the British empire. It's really no different today. I have real reservations about Lincoln and Hamilton in regards to their contributions but I'll reserve that for another day. LaRouche would be considered a socialist.

The Story of your Enslavement - Video (13 min)

The Hegelian Dialectic

12. Why people don’t change?

Brain Damage
An Intro to The Bomb in the Brain Video (1:00 in (3 min for the main point))
My comments: Once someone understands that Trama leads to Brain Disfunction which leads to Ideology which leads to the circle of evidence and reason supporting that ideology… the next step is finding someone to trust (therapy). Thus when people are segregated by the fact that they can’t trust anyone they are forever lost.
If we look at trust and trustworthiness as a part of ourselves as important as an arm or a leg… then when we are encouraged to get ahead by lying by accepting we are in effect severing.. Amputating that body part.  This puts us in a position of helplessness to ourselves and others.

13.What is Wisdom?

My comments: Over my 40+ years I have always been a thinker. I'm not sure why or what happen that left me with this affliction but I've always been presented with the time to think and reflect on what is the meaning to it all. In my mind I've always been a seeker of wisdom and somewhere in my head was an image of myself, maybe my future self, as an wise old man being consulted from time to time on the secrets to life. Thus, I went after the answers... I needed to be prepared for that day! Before I go patting myself on the back for all my fine work, l still have much to learn...

There are so many things I have found to be valuable. So many gems I've found in the rough. Characters I've met along the way holding onto a nugget of wisdom far from the scholars or the institutions of learning. These are truly my favorites. But to be brief the main lesson I have learned is simplicity. The more complicated something is... the more potential flaws it has.The second thing I've noticed is the wisdom of the ages... some of those simple things have been around for a long time... yet somehow people can't help but overlook them. It's like the fellow who frantically is looking for his hat... and the more he looks the more distressed he becomes... yet when he finally gives up and says..." TO HELL WITH IT!!" He realizes the hat has been on his head the whole time.

These golden nuggets and precious gems of wisdom are just sitting around waiting to be rediscovered... in some places very well known (like a natural resource) while in others, not a soul grasps it.

So I suppose I'll start there... with some favorites right out of the lips of people's mouths. Language.

Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation. ~Oscar Wilde 1905
